Dedicated to the hypnotic sounds of traditional Arab music, the Arabic Music Festival is one of the leading events of its kind. It attracts some of the best artists, musicians and ensembles from all over the Arab world. The festival is hosted by the stunning Cairo Opera House which opened in 1988 after its predecessor was destroyed by fire in 1971
