Celebrating the wonderful world of comics, the event is Denmark's largest comic book festival. It attracts a mix of cartoonists, writers, fans and collectors from across the country as well as those from further afield. Everything from old Disney favourites such as Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse to modern classics such as X-Men is represented at the show. Visitors can also learn from the masters themselves at a series of lectures, exhibitions and workshops held by established writers, cartoonists and publishers. The first Komiks Festival was held in 2004 and is now a biennial event.
