5/01/2008 - 7/31/2008International Hemingway Fishing Tournament
Havana,
Cuba
Ernest Hemingway's love of big game fishing is the stuff of legend. The legacy of the many years he spent in Cuba has been left in this popular fishing tournament, which the great man himself helped to set up in 1950. Many decades on, still today hundreds of anglers take part in the event setting off from Havana's Marina Hemingway. Typical catches in the warm Caribbean waters include marlin, tuna and wahoo.
