Beijing Fashion Week is an opportunity for China to host a fashion show which highlights their growing influence in this competitive market. With almost 30 catwalk shows, one forum, five design contests and a contest for the best designer and model, the week's events offer ample opportunity for designers from China and elsewhere in the world to show off their collections. In addition to conventional shows, there is also a lingerie show and a cosmetic-trends collection.
