Since 1979, the Stephenville Theatre Festival has brought a summer season of quality productions to the town of the same name and attracted large numbers of outside visitors. Productions such as "Stones in His Pockets", "Noises Off", "Still Crazy After All These Years", "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Chicago" have all been performed in previous years. The festival also provides training and hands-on experience for those wanting to gain experience of working in the theatrical world
