Founded in 1983 under the name of "Jazz in the City", SFJAZZ is a leading non-profit jazz organisation that has been entertaining audiences in San Francisco with its programme of jazz performances for many years. Added in 2000, the annual San Francisco Jazz Spring Season was a relatively new addition to its year-round programming and now stretches to a five-week season of jazz attracting both performers and audiences from all over the world.
