An extensive, rolling programme of concerts and music festivals takes place across all the districts of French-speaking Belgium throughout the summer and continues into early autumn. Brussels, Namur, Saint-Hubert, Stavelot, Hinaut, Brabant-Wallon and Liege each organise their own programmes in towns throughout their respective districts, with all events falling under the wider umbrella of the Festival of Wallonia. Churches, abbeys and castles are among the many and varied venues used to stage top level classical music performances including prestigious international orchestras and soloists.
