During the 10-day festival, visitors to the city can enjoy a great programme of food- and drink-related events as part of the annual Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Over 100 of the city's restaurants participate in the event by presenting special menus. As well as sampling the many dishes and drinks on offer, visitors can shop at a huge food market, participate in cookery master classes and chat with world-famous chefs and restaurant owners. The event attracts a great mix of restauranteurs, industry buyers and sellers, chefs, sommeliers and food and drink lovers from all over the world.
