    six months after date of entry into Anguilla required by all except:
    1. nationals of the USA with an original birth certificate and official photo ID. 

    Note:
    As of 23 January 2007 all persons, including US citizens, traveling by air between the USA and Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda are required to present a valid passport or other approved document when entering or re-entering the USA. Similar requirements for those traveling by land or sea will be introduced as early as 1 January 2008.     Visas
    Required by all except the following:
    (a) nationals of countries referred to in the chart above and nationals of their overseas territories.

    Note: Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the London Passport Office or their local British Embassy to check visa requirements (see General Info).

    Warning
    Most visits to Anguilla are trouble-free but you should be aware of the global risk of indiscriminate international terrorist attacks, which could be against civilian targets, including places frequented by foreigners.

    The hurricane season in Anguilla normally runs from June to November.

    Health Care
    Primary health services can be obtained from the three private health clinics, where registered nurses provide care for minor emergencies. Family doctors hold clinics twice weekly. Secondary health care can be found at the small hospital located in The Valley. Minor emergency treatment is usually free for UK citizens with proof of UK residence. Health insurance is recommended as costs for other categories of treatment are high.

    * A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travelers over one year of age arriving from infected areas.
