For years American's have dreamed of a Cuban vacation, and many have even illegally traveled to Cuba to explore this diverse Caribbean playground. Cuba is highly regarded for its abundance of flora, fauna wildlife and scenic landscape not to mention an interesting political history. Thanks to newly relaxed tourism laws brought about by the Obama administration, the tiny nation has emerged as one of the more popular destinations for international travelers - and with the warm Cuban weather and curious cultural differences it’s no wonder why. The sunny nation boasts a pleasant tropical climate that keeps beach-lovers coming year round, yet travelers looking for the peak season to visit Cuba may want to book their trips for the middle of March.

Like many islands in the Caribbean, Cuba’s year is split into a rainy season (May-October) and a dry season (November-April). Though some may be tempted to explore the island nation during the summer months, the island’s location makes it a natural target for hurricanes, making travel during the rainy season a potentially perilous feat. Yet during the dry season, temperatures are mild, the sun still shines and the weather is much more accommodating than the warmer months. During this time, temperatures across Cuba average around 73-75 degrees - weather that is perfect for lounging around on the beach or just exploring the tourist districts in Havana.

Should vacationers make it out to one of the Cuban islands, they will be greeted with moderately strong trade winds that can provide a welcome respite from the hot, sticky temperatures of the region.
