Just a half mile from the gates of Banff National Park, and eight more from the town of Banff, this condo-style lodge is ideal for outdoorsy travelers. It's convenient to numerous hiking and biking trails, six golf courses, and five ski areas (ask about ski packages when booking a room). The 42 one- and two-bedroom suites aren't exactly plush, but the blond wood furniture and forest-green sofas positioned before gas fireplaces do the trick. There's an outdoor hot tub, laundry facilities, and movie rentals for those who believe that après-ski means curling up in front of the TV.
