Expedition Cruises
How would you describe this trip to a friend?
The most remarkable combination of jungle and ruins! Like stepping into the land of the lost - with huge banyans growing through beautiful temples and statuary. Made even more surreal by the multitude of live landmines still in the area from Khmer Rouge occupation.
What did you enjoy most about Cambodia?
learning the history of the ruins from a personal guide
Before going on this trip, I wish I had known that...
to bring lots of small trinkets to give to the millions of adorable and miserably poor children who surround you constantly and beg - sticks of gum, pens, small American coins, those are treasures for them
