Oman Fine Arts Society (tel: 24 694 969) in Shatti al-Qurm has a regular program of contemporary arts exhibitions. His Majesty, Sultan Qaboos, is a classical music enthusiast and concerts are occasionally performed at
Al-Bustan Hotel.
There are several cinemas in Muscat, including
Al-Shatti Plaza, Shatti al-Qurm (tel: 24 692 656) which shows Arabic, Hindi and English films nightly.
