Bacanal del Gnoco, Feb, Verona’s version of the carnival, with lots of parties and activities and a famous parade on the Thursday before Lent, where 4,000 participants all dressed in masked costumes walk through the streets of Verona together with their allegorical hand-made floats, brass bands and drum majorettes
