Located on the southern shores of Belfast Lough, Crawfordsburn Country Park boasts stunning views along 3.5km (2.2 miles) of rugged coastline. The park includes two great beaches, woodland, ponds and meadows and visitors are able to enjoy three marked trails – the Coastal Path, the Glen Walk and the Meadows Walk. The Glen Walk is the shortest of the three but passes through some spectacular scenery including a five-arched railway viaduct and a beautiful waterfall. The Coastal Path is suitable for wheelchair users. Other attractions in the park include the Grey Point Fort, a coastal battery and gun emplacement dating from the 1900s. The park offers a series of informative guided walks during the summer months.
