Sweden’s Museum of National Antiquities traces more than 12,000 years of the nation’s history from the Stone Age to the 16th century. Its most famous attraction is the Gold Room, which houses magnificent silver and gold treasures found in Swedish soil from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. The Viking exhibit features a unique collection of artefacts from the Viking period, whilst the museum also houses one of the world’s finest and best preserved collections of Medieval religious art.
