Moshoeshoe International Airport
The only airport in Lesotho, Moshoeshoe International Airport serves Maseru, and is located some 11 miles from the city center in the tiny town of Mazenod. It’s a small facility used by only two airlines, Mission Aviation Fellowship and Airlink, with the latter offering two flights a day from Johannesburg and the former aimed at transporting missionaries via Cessna 172, 208 and 206 charter flights to airstrips around Lesotho. If you’re planning on arriving at the airport, a taxi should be booked in advance, as there are no onward transportation options available on-site.
