Airport News
Current projects at the airport include the construction of a new terminal building that will feature upper level departures and lower level arrivals. The new terminal is scheduled for completion in spring 2007.
Driving Directions
Coming from the west, take I-64 east to exit 197A. From the east, take I-64 west to exit 197A. From the north, take I-95 south to I-64 east to exit 197A. From the south, take I-95 north to I-64 east to exit 197A. From exit 197A take Airport Drive to the airport.
Car Parking
The airport has 8,000 parking spaces. Daily parking is located directly across from the terminal building and offers a combination of garage and surface parking. Hourly parking can be found in the first level areas of the North and South Garages. Economy lots A and B are located off Airport Drive on Eubank Road directly across from the Doubletree Hotel Richmond Airport and are within 0.8km (0.5 miles) of the terminal building. Economy lot C is located south on Airport Drive within 1.5km (1 mile) of the terminal. Free EasyPark shuttle services provide continuous transportation between the economy lots and the terminal building. Valet parking is available at the terminal departure kerb. Disabled parking is available in all parking lots. All EasyPark shuttles are wheelchair accessible. For more information about parking at the airport, call (804) 236 4030.
Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are located on the lower level of the terminal building behind the escalators.
Public Transport
Road: Bus: The Greater Richmond Transit Company (tel: (804) 358 4782) offers public buses to the Richmond terminal and to the city, as well as other greater Richmond locations.
Taxi: Taxis are available kerbside by the North Garage from first flight departure to last flight arrival.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Full bank services are available in the main lobby on the ground floor. ATMs can be found in the upper level connector, between the atrium and the escalator, and in the lobby areas of the North and South Garages. Free Wireless Internet access is available on the upper level of the terminal.
Eating and drinking: A coffee bar is located in concourse A. Restaurants, grills and a take-away service are located in the upper level atrium. A restaurant and a pub can be found in concourse A, while another pub and burger restaurant are located in concourse B.
Shopping: There are news-stands in the upper level central atrium and in each of the concourses.
Luggage: Lost and found items are handled by the Airport Badging Office on the lower level of the terminal. Outside of the opening hours travelers should call (804) 226 3056 and leave their name, phone number and a description of their lost or found item.
Other facilities: There is a medical clinic in the Southern Office Block at the airport. Baby changing facilities can be found in all ladies’ toilets.
Conference and Business Facilities
A teleconferencing center is available on the lower level of the terminal building. The center also provides communication services such as free Ethernet LAN and Internet connections for laptop computers. Facilities for Disabled Travelers
The airport is accessible for disabled travelers. Skycaps are available kerbside and can provide wheelchairs and luggage assistance for travelers with special needs. Lifts are located on the lower level of the terminal building near the hire car counters and in each parking garage. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Pay phones throughout the terminal building are also wheelchair accessible. A TTY phone is located on the first level. Passengers requiring assistance to or from the gate areas can be escorted by a Skycap to their gate. Passengers should request this service when scheduling their flight. Parking spaces for disabled people are available in all on-airport parking facilities. Courtesy phones are located in the main lobby of the north and south garages. By dialing 3041 passengers can request wheelchair assistance. For further information on the airport’s services for customers with disabilities, call (804) 226 3000. For wheelchair accessible ground transportation to locations outside of the airport, contact Groome Transportation (tel: (804) 222 7222). Some hire car companies at the airport also offer hand-controlled vehicles for mobility-impaired passengers.
