The airport is located 6.5km (4 miles) southeast of Albuquerque.
Driving Directions
Take I-25 south to the Sunport Boulevard exit (exit 221) and go east on Sunport Boulevard to the front of the terminal. Alternatively, drive south on I-25 to the Gibson Boulevard exit (exit 222A), go east on Gibson Boulevard and drive south on Yale Boulevard.
Car Parking
A four-story car park located next to the terminal provides space for 3,400 cars on an hourly basis. The long-term surface car park provides a further 500 spaces. Car Hire
Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all represented. Offices are at the Sunport Car Rental Center, 0.8km (0.5 miles) west of the passenger terminal building at 3400 University Boulevard SE; shuttles transport car hire customers between the facility and the terminal building.

Road: Bus: ABQ Ride (tel: (505) 843 9200) provides the public bus service between the airport and Downtown Albuquerque.
Shuttle: Door-to-door shuttle services are operated by Airport Shuttle (tel: (505) 765 1234) and Sunport Shuttle (tel: (505) 883 4966). Shuttle services to Santa Fe are also available from Sandia Shuttle Express (tel: (505) 242 0302).
Taxi: Taxis are operated by Albuquerque Cab Company (tel: (505) 883 4888) and Yellow Cab Company (tel: (505) 247 8888).
Information and Help Desks
The Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau information booth is located in the baggage reclaim area, on the ground level of the terminal building.

Money and communications: ATMs are located throughout the terminal building. There are several Internet stations at the airport. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the terminal, free of charge, and there are several Internet stations throughout the airport.
Eating and drinking: The airport has a variety of fast-food outlets, as well as restaurants, coffee shops, bars and cocktail lounges. A food court is situated in the A/B Connector Area, offering Mexican cuisine, a microbrewery, pizzeria, ice-cream parlour and gourmet deli and bakery.
Shopping: There are gift shops, specialty stores, newsagents and gift carts located throughout the airport.
Luggage: The airport has a lost and found office (tel: (505) 244 7706), which is open 24 hours a day.
Other facilities: There are shoeshine stands and a barbershop.

Braille signage, wheelchair-accessible toilets, drinking fountains and TDDs and disabled parking are all provided. Lifts connect all levels of the terminal building and multi-story car park. Shuttle vans from the car rental center are wheelchair-accessible.

There is also a courtesy shuttle to take guests to the hotel.
