The airport is located 10km (6 miles) north of Dublin.

Airport News
New departure facility Pier D opened late in 2007, while a second terminal is planned for opening in 2010.

Driving Directions
From Dublin city center, take the M50 northbound and exit onto the M1 northbound; the airport is signposted.

Car Parking
The airport has short- and long-term car parks, offering over 18,000 spaces. Short-term parking is available directly opposite the terminal building, while long-term parking is located on the eastern perimeter (accessed directly from the motorway) with a 24-hour shuttle bus service to the terminal. Parking information (tel: (01) 814 4828 or 1 800 204 010) and valet parking are available.

Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Irish Car Rentals and National all have desks situated in the Arrivals area. Pre-book car-hire companies, also with desks in the Arrivals area, include Argus, Atlas, Dan Dooley and Sixt.

Public Transport
Road: Bus: Frequent local bus services, operated by Dublin Bus (tel: (01) 873 4222; website: www.dublinbus.ie), leave from the main Arrivals road directly outside the terminal. These include the Airlink express bus, which runs to Dublin’s main bus and rail stations. Bus 747 runs to the O’Connell Street, the central bus station and Parnell Square West. Bus 748 runs to Heuston and Connolly rail stations and the central bus station.
Coach: Coach services operate from the airport’s coach park on the far side of the main car park building to many destinations in Ireland. These include the 24-hour Aircoach service (tel: (01) 844 7118; website: www.aircoach.ie) to south Dublin (including most major hotels in the city), and cities around Ireland.
Taxi: Taxis are available from outside the terminal.

Information and Help Desks
The Airport Information Desk and the Dublin Tourism information and reservation center (tel: (01) 605 7700) are both located on the Arrivals concourse.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Bureaux de change and ATMs are located throughout the terminal. A foreign exchange currency dispenser is located on the Departures level. There is a bank on the Departures concourse and a post office in the car park atrium.
Eating and drinking: The airport has a variety of restaurants, cafés and bars.
Shopping:
Shops include duty-free, with a shopping street in the boarding area of Departures.
Luggage:
A left-luggage facility is available in the atrium of the multi-story car park. Portage service is available from Greencaps (tel: (01) 814 4633).
Other facilities:
There is a pharmacy and a free nursery; baby change facilities are available in most airport toilets.

Conference and Business Facilities
There are meeting rooms and business lounges available, with full business facilities, including photocopy, fax and Internet access (tel: 1 890 306 090). A VIP Service is also available (tel: (01) 814 4892). 30 meeting rooms are available at the Radisson SAS Hotel, along with a fully equipped business center, and a catering service (tel: (01) 844 6000; website: www.radissonsas.com). Wireless Internet access is available throughout the airport for a fee.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers
Facilities include adapted toilets, lifts with Braille buttons and an induction loop. Passengers should inform their airline of any special needs on arrival at the airport or when making their booking. A Minicom telephone is provided for hearing-impaired travelers. Short- and long-term parking for disabled passengers is available and can be booked in advance (tel: (01) 814 4828). Fernley (tel: (01) 814 5505) provides passenger assistance to and from the aircraft.

Hotels
The Clarion Dublin Airport (tel: (01) 808 0500; website: www.clariondublinairport.com) and Radisson SAS Dublin Airport (tel: (01) 844 6000; website: www.radissonsas.com) are both located on the airport complex. Others nearby include the Holiday Inn Express (tel: (01) 862 8866; website: www.ichotelsgroup.com), the Crowne Plaza (tel: (01) 862 8888; website: www.ichotelsgroup.com), and the Travelodge (tel: (01) 807 9400; website: www.travelodge.ie). Hotel reservations can be made at the Dublin Tourism information and reservation center and at the courtesy telephones on the Arrivals concourse.
