Airport News Construction of a 1,670m (5,500 ft) parallel runway is underway with an estimated 2011 completion date.
Driving Directions From the north follow I-35 southbound or the west follow I-80 eastbound to (I-235), exit at Martin Luther King Parkway, proceed south until it meets with Fleur Drive. Continue on Fleur to the airport. From the south, take I-35 northbound to Iowa-5, go east 11km (7 miles) and exit at Fleur Drive, proceed north on Fleur to airport. From the east, follow I-80 westbound to US-65 south. Turn north at the Fleur exit and proceed 3km (2 miles) to the airport.
Car Parking Short- and long-term and economy parking is available at the airport with ample disabled spaces available in all areas. Shuttle bus service is available for the economy parking.
Car Hire Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty operate from the airport.

Airport Facilities Money and communications: There are two ATMs, one in the lower terminal, the other in the concourse. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the terminal and concourse. A wireless card is required to use the service. Eating and drinking: The restaurant in the terminal lobby has been remodeled to create a food court atmosphere. There is a full-service lounge serving grill items on the lower level. On the concourse level is a full-service restaurant featuring a full menu of cuisine and libations. A few more outlets are also available in the concourse. Shopping: A shop selling gifts, traveller’s convenience items, newspapers and magazines can be found on the lobby level. There is also a retail shop on the concourse level. Luggage: For lost or found items, contact the Airport Administration office (tel: (515) 256 5100) located on the skywalk level of the main terminal building. Other facilities: Most restrooms offer baby changing tables. The airport offers a translation service for 75-some languages and dialects.
Conference and Business Facilities The Business Center, open from 0500 to 2200, provides desk space, telephone service, Internet access and lounge space. It is located in the main terminal immediately opposite the ticket counters. Meeting rooms of all sizes are available on the skywalk level of the main terminal.
Facilities for Disabled Travelers The airport is fully accessible for disabled travelers. There are lifts, ramps and adapted toilets, and wheelchairs can be supplied if required. TDDs are located in the concourses and on the terminal lower level. The airlines serving the airport have wheelchairs available. Disabled parking is available near the lifts on all levels of the parking ramp.
