Location The airport is situated 16km (10 miles) southeast of Fort Myers.
Driving Directions Take Ben Hill Griffin Parkway/Treeline Avenue Extension (east of I-75) between Daniels Parkway (Exit 131) and Alico Road (Exit 128). Turn east onto the Terminal Access Road.
Car Parking Short-term parking is available directly across from the terminal. Long-term parking is located beyond the short-term parking garage. Shuttles provide transportation to this lot. There is also a cell phone lot, which can be accessed following signs from Terminal Access Road.
Car Hire Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all represented at the airport. The Rental Car Service Center is located on the ground level of the parking garage. Arriving passengers should proceed downstairs, exit baggage claim and walk across the street to the car rental facilities.
Public Transport Road Bus: Lee Tran (tel: (239) 533 8726; website: www.rideleetran.com) provides public transport 0500-2200; a bus service is provided on an hourly basis to a transfer point at Daniels Parkway, where connections can be made to the remainder of the Lee Tran routes. Many hotels in the area offer a shuttle bus service to/from the airport. Taxi: Fixed-rate taxis are available from the airport and can be booked in advance or upon arrival at the ground transportation booth, which is situated between the terminal and the short-term car park.
Information and Help Desks The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau has information kiosks at various locations in the terminal, where maps and literature are also available.
Airport Facilities Money and communications: A bureau de change, ATMs, postal service and pay phones can all be found in the terminal. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the airport and additional Internet kiosks in the business center. Eating and drinking: There are several fast-food outlets, cafes and restaurants in the terminal building. Shopping: There are several gift and regional specialty shops selling items for children, golfers and travelers. Luggage: A lost property service is available (tel: (239) 590 4810). Other facilities: Newspaper vending machines are available.
Conference and Business Facilities A Business Center (tel: (239) 561 2204) with fax machines, computer laptop connections, a photocopying machine, Internet kiosks, money exchange, FedEx service and conference center is available on the second level.
