Driving Directions

From Oklahoma City or from the west, take I-40 to exit 145; exit to the south and follow Meridian Avenue to the airport. From the north or south, take the I-44 to exit 116B, and follow Airport Road west from there to Meridian Avenue and head south to the airport.

Car Hire

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty are all represented at the airport, with desks located on the Arrivals level 1.

Public Transport

Bus: Oklahoma City Metro Transit (tel: (405) 235 7433; www.gometro.org) runs a daily service to/from the airport; bus 11 runs a frequent daily service to Union Bus Station in Oklahoma City (journey time approx. 10 minutes). Jefferson Bus Company operates a daily bus service to Lawton and Wichita Falls (Texas). For more information and schedules, contact the Union Bus Station (tel: (405) 235 6425). Shuttles: Public minibus shuttles meet all scheduled flights arriving at the airport; to arrange to be collected from home, business or hotel. Reservations must be made by telephone. The companies providing this service include Airport Express (tel: (405) 681 3311; www.airportexpressokc.com) and Metro Express (tel: (405) 681 3311). Taxi: Taxis are available at the Transportation Plaza, which can be accessed from the baggage claim (lower) level; fare schedules are posted inside the taxis.

Car Parking

Passenger pick-up and drop-off areas are located directly outside the entrances of the upper and lower levels. No parking or waiting is allowed in these areas. A multi-story hourly car park is located close to the terminal, with direct access; the first hour of parking is free. To the north of the hourly car park is the five-story daily parking garage; there is a lift on each level to carry passengers to the underground travelator, which connects to the terminal from the lower level. Long-term parking is available on both the north and west sides of the five-story garage; the west car park is semi-covered. Shuttle buses run between the car parks and the terminal. Parking is free for up to one hour for those collecting or dropping off passengers.

Information and Help Desks

There are Travelers Aid information desks (tel: (405) 680 3271) in the baggage reclaim area on the first floor and in the Departures area on the second floor, just inside the main entrance to the terminal.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: ATMs are located at the ticket counter level; however, there is no bureau de change facility at the airport. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the terminal.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, snack bars and bars in the concourses and one snack shop located before security.
Shopping: Newsagents and gift shops are located in the concourse and one newsagent can be found before security. Shops at the airport sell specialty luggage, regional gifts and souvenirs. A newspaper vending machine and a CNBC News shop are also available.
Luggage: A Skycap porter service is available outside the terminal.
Other facilities: For First Aid services, contact the Travelers Aid information desks. There is a shoeshine service on Level 2.

Conference and Business Facilities

The VIP room on the third floor holds 50-60 people. There are also three conference rooms; a small conference room that holds 10 people and a second, larger one that can accommodate up to 20 people are both located on the third floor; a large conference room on the ticket counter level holds 50-60 people (tel: (405) 680 3200).The Four Points by Sheraton Oklahoma City Airport (tel: (405) 681 3500; www.starwoodhotels.com) offers extensive meetings facilities.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers

Lifts, ramps and adapted toilets are all provided at the airport. There is a TDD telephone at the Travelers Aid booth on the baggage reclaim level. MedRide/Airport Express provides wheelchair and special needs transportation to various locations in the region (tel: (405) 685 8267).
