Location
The airport is situated 6.5km (4 miles) southeast of downtown Reno.
Driving Directions
From downtown Reno, take South Virginia south to Plumb Lane and drive east straight to the airport. From Hwy-395 North or South, take Reno/Tahoe International Airport exit; from I-80 West or East, take the Hwy-395 South exit and then the Reno/Tahoe International Airport exit.
Car Hire
Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all represented. Desks are located on the lower level in the terminal building, to the left of the main entrance to the airport and opposite baggage reclaim.
Public Transport
Bus: Bus services are operated by RTC public bus (tel: (775) 348 7433; ) and scheduled shuttle services, including the North Lake Tahoe Express (tel: 866 216 5222; ), the South Lake Tahoe Express (tel: 866 898 2463; ) and the Airport Mini Bus (tel: (775) 786 3700). Ground transportation information is available (tel: (775) 328 6566). Taxi: Taxis are available from Reno-Sparks (tel: (775) 333 3333), Whittlesea Checker (tel: (775) 322 2222) and Yellow/Deluxe (tel: (775) 355 5555) (journey time - 10 minutes).
Car Parking
Long- and short-term parking is available. The airport's covered car park building is connected to the terminal by lifts and a walkway. There are spaces for about 1,250 cars in this car park, spread over three floors. The uncovered top level can support another 850 cars. There is also a long-term surface lot just south of the Parking Garage, with space for an additional 1,565 vehicles. Parking information is available (tel: (775) 328 6566).

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Telephones and ATMs are located on each concourse, in the lobby and in baggage claim. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is also available.
Eating and drinking: Restaurants and coffee shops are located around the terminal. Fast-food is available in the Food Court and on the concourses.
Shopping: Shops at the airport include newsagents and gift stores, golf, clothing, sweets and duty-free on Concourse C.
Luggage: Baggage trolleys are available but left-luggage and baggage lockers have been discontinued. The airport operates a lost and found service.
Other facilities: AED units (defibrillators) are installed throughout the terminal.
Conference and Business Facilities
Conference facilities are available at nearby hotels, including the Best Western Airport Plaza (tel: (775) 348 6370; website: www.bestwesternnevada.com), which is located opposite the airport, and can provide a business center, five boardroom-style meeting rooms and conference facilities accommodating up to 320 delegates, with audiovisual equipment and computer data ports.
Facilities for Disabled Travelers
The airport is well equipped for disabled passengers. There are lifts and ramps throughout and dedicated spaces in the airport car parks. Adapated toilets are also available. Assistance is available on request for all disabled passengers, although passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. There are also height-adjusted telephones throughout the airport, which can be used by travelers in a wheelchair.
