Location

The airport is located 56km (35 miles) east of Los Angeles.

Transfer Between Terminals

A courtesy airport shuttle bus connects the two terminals and the remote car park Lot F, daily 24 hours.

Driving Directions

The airport can be reached from the Archibald exit of the I-10 or off Grove Avenue from the Fwy-60. There is also an exit on Haven Avenue, which takes drivers directly to Airport Drive.

Car Hire

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz,National and Thrifty are all represented at the airport, in the Ground Transportation Center. Off-site car hire companies can be contacted via the courtesy phones in the baggage reclaim areas of both terminals. There is a courtesy shuttle service between the terminals and the Ground Transportation Center.

Public Transport

Bus: Omnitrans (tel: (909) 379 7100 or 1 800 966 6428 in the USA; ) runs a bus service between the airport and destinations in the San Bernardino area; Foothill Transit (tel: (909) 621 2126; ) runs a service to West Covina; and the Riverside Transit Agency (tel: (951) 565 5002 or 1 800 800 7821 in the USA; ) operates a service to destinations in Riverside. Shuttle: Door-to-door shuttle services also operate from outside the baggage reclaim area of both terminals and are run by a number of companies that include Supershuttle (tel: 800 258 3826; ), Apollo Shuttle (tel: 877 927 6556; ) and Express Shuttle (tel: (310) 323 7222; ). The service can also be booked in advance. Taxi: Taxis are available outside the baggage reclaim areas. Taxis must be equipped with a meter or rate card, which is clearly visible.

Car Parking

There are short- and long-term car parks. Lot 2 has hourly parking with a two-hour limit and daily parking; Lot 3 is for daily parking, with cheaper rates than Lots 2 and 4; Lot 4 has hourly parking with a two-hour limit and daily parking. Lot F is a remote economy lot, with a courtesy shuttle bus service to the terminals. The first two hours of parking in the economy car park Lot F is free of charge. Information and Help Desks

Two touch-screen information kiosks with courtesy phones are located in the baggage areas of both terminals. Information about ground transportation, airlines and hotels is available. Travelers Aid information booths are located in both terminals; Travelers Aid staff assist passengers with general airport enquiries.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: ATMs, change machines and telephones can be found in both terminals. Many pay telephones allow passengers to plug in their laptop computers and to charge calls to their credit cards. Tan-colored courtesy phones are provided in both terminals within the airport for passengers who wish to place calls within the airport. Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the airport.
Eating and drinking: Restaurants, cafes and bars are also located in both terminals.
Shopping:
There are a number of shops in both terminals, including a gift shop and newsagents.
Luggage: Baggage reclaim is on the ground floor in both terminals. A Skycap porter service, trolley and lockers are available in both terminals. Lost property is handled by the Airport Police (tel: (909) 933 5600).
Other facilities: These include first aid and defibrillators.

Conference and Business Facilities

Business centers are located on the upper levels of both terminals; they provide fax facilities, telephones, modem access, stamp machines and travel insurance services. The Hilton Ontario Airport (tel: (909) 980 0400; www.hilton.com), the Ontario Airport Marriott (tel: (909) 975 5000; www.marriott.com) and the Sheraton Ontario Airport (tel: (909) 937 8000; www.starwoodhotels.com) are all located close to the airport, and have meeting and conference facilities.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers

Reserved parking is available in Lot 2, Lot 4 and Lot F. Adapted toilets are available in both terminals. Wheelchairs and assistance are available through airline representatives at each airline counter. TDDs are provided on several public payphones. Standard TDD keyboard signs are displayed where payphones with TDD capability are located. The courtesy airport shuttle between the terminals and the long-term car park Lot F is wheelchair-accessible.
