The airport is located 14km (9 miles) from Antalya, the main city on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.

The airport’s new second terminal officially opened in the spring of 2010.

Driving Directions

From the city center, follow Alanya Road. The airport is signposted. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Car Hire

Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National, plus several local operators, are represented at the airport.

Public Transport

There are no buses or trains serving the airport. Shuttle: Hotels and tour operators often provide a courtesy shuttle service for their customers, which make up the majority of arriving passengers. Private airport transfers are available for a door-to-door service from companies such as Kesit Tourism (tel: (242) 323 1414; www.kesit.com) and Antalya Touristic (tel: (535) 341 1869; www.antalyataxi.tk). Taxi: Taxis serve the airport and leave from in front of the main terminal building; passengers are advised to haggle a fare before setting off.

Three car parks accommodating around 1,200 cars (as well as coaches), are situated outside the terminals.

There is one information desk in the Arrivals hall (tel: (242) 330 3600 ext 1120) and one in the Departures hall (tel: (242) 330 3600 ext 1123/4).

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There are ATMs, a postal service and telephones. A bureau de change is situated in the International Arrivals area, although rates of exchange are not good and passengers might be better off changing money at their hotel or at banks.
Eating and drinking: There are bars, cafés and fast-food restaurants.
Shopping: There are several shops at the airport, including duty-free in International Departures.
Luggage: A lost and found (tel: (0242) 330 3600) is located in the check-in hall. Luggage trolleys are freely available.
Other facilities: Other facilities include a well-staffed medical service, baby rooms and a resting lounge for business people and VIPs.

Conference and Business Facilities

Limited business facilities can be found in the CIP lounge, which is operated by Turkish Airlines. Meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 200 people are available at the nearby IC Hotel Airport (tel: (242) 463 1010; www.ichotels.com.tr). The Antalya Expo Center (tel: (242) 462 2000; www.anfas.com.tr) is also close by.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers

There are lifts in Departures and Arrivals. Wheelchair transportation can also be provided between the airplane and Arrivals/Departures; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. Disabled toilets are also available.
