The airport is located 20km (12 miles) northwest of Prague.

Airport News

A second runway is scheduled for completion in 2014. There are also plans for a direct rail link with central Prague.

From central Prague, follow the airport signs along route R7.

Car Hire

Alimex CR, Avis, Budget, CS-Czechocar, Dvorak, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt are all represented, with counters on the ground floor of car park C.

Public Transport

Bus: Bus 100 runs from the airport to Zlicin metro station, 15 minutes from the airport. Bus 119 and bus 254 run from the airport to Dejvická metro station, which is located 20 minutes from the airport. Two night bus services operate after hours. Services are operated by DP Praha (tel: 2961 91817; www.dp-praha.cz), which has an information desk in the Arrivals hall. Taxi: Registered taxis operated by FIX (tel: 2205 61788) are available in front of the Arrivals hall.
Minibus: Minibuses operated by CEDAZ (tel: 2201 14286) serve the airport. Minibus stands are located in front of the Arrivals hall.

Car Parking

Car parking facilities, including both short- and long-term parking (located near Terminals 1 and 2), a multi-story car park and parking for coaches. There is also short- and long-term parking at Terminal 3/4.

Information and Help Desks

Information desks are located in all terminals (tel: 2201 13314/21).

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There is a bank branch as well as several bureau de change and ATMs at the airport. A post office is located in the corridor connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Wireless Internet access is available in the lounges, restaurants and other areas of the airport terminals.
Eating and drinking:
Restaurant facilities are available for passengers in the public and transit areas of Terminals 1 and 2. There is a wide selection of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from.
Shopping: There are more than 70 shops at the airport, including gift shops and duty-free shops. A pharmacy is also available.
Luggage: Lost property offices are located in the Arrivals area. An oversized baggage shipping service and a baggage wrapping service are also available.
Other facilities: A 24-hour health (including First Aid) and sanitary service is provided. Several travel agencies have counters in the terminals.

Conference and Business Facilities

A conference room (seating 12) and a press room (seating 35) are available at the VIP facilities in the North Terminal. A Representative Lounge is available, equipped with fax, photocopying, a data-projector and free Internet. There are other lounges offering business and conference facilities as well, including the Bohemia Lounge and the Moravia Lounge. Fixed and mobile congress counters can be hired through the VIP Service (tel: 2205 62525 or 2201 13491). A congress hall seating up to 350 people is located in the building connecting Terminals 1 and 2. Meeting facilities are also offered by the airport hotels.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers

The airport is accessible to disabled passengers and assistance can be requested in advance (tel: 2201 16076). Passengers should also inform their airline of their requirements prior to travel. Parking is free for disabled passengers upon presentation of a valid disabled badge; reserved spaces are available in the multi-story car park.
