TOP TEN WORLD TRAVEL DESTINATIONS IN 2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHICAGO, January 7, 2007- iExplore (www.iExplore.com) announced today the list of Top Ten World Travel Destinations as determined by the vacation purchases of its adventure and experiential travelers.
Egypt held on to its top position for the third straight year, and the rest of the top 10 was largely unchanged from 2006.
iExplore founder and CEO, George Deeb, said "we continue to see heavy demand for the man-made and natural wonders of the world, as evidenced by the destinations on this list".
Other destinations showing strong growth in 2007 included Venezuela (#13), Jordan (#16), Nepal (#17) and Morocco (#18). Bumped from last year's top ten were Italy (#26) and Argentina (#21). These movements largely reflect emerging destinations like Venezuela, stabilizing political situations like Nepal and the devaluation of the U.S. dollar, impacting demand to Italy and the rest of Europe.
